Co-founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors, Stephanie Tofield has provided financial expertise and administrative guidance to BCSMSSA since 1989.
Douglas Louis Matear (B. of Ed., M.A., Ed.D., CCC) joined BCSMSSA as a therapist in 2001 and then as a board member in December 2022. Douglas has extensive experience as an educator, a public school administrator, and as a psychotherapist. He strongly supports the valuable and significant work which the BCSMSSA provides.
Linda Burchell has been a full-time board member since 2020 and serves as the society’s secretary. She feels honoured to support the staff and clinicians who do such significant work.
Lee Leroux joined the Board in July 2021. Her commitment follows a 27-year career in home support and long-term care. Lee values the work being done at the Society.
